The job involves preparing and serving mid-day meals to a maximum of 15 service users (at present due to Covid 19 restrictions 10 service users are attending daily, to be slowly increased as part of the Recovery Plan).


Kitchen Assistant duties would involve pureeing, blending and cutting up of meals in accordance with individual service user SALT guidelines, as well as undertaking a range of cleaning and other kitchen duties. We expect high standards of cleanliness, and record keeping skills to meet legislative requirements and the ability to work as part of the team.


Training for the job will be provided but experience of kitchen work and Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate would be essential.
