Desktop Support Technician - Windows 11 Migration Project

One of partners in the Minneapolis, MN area is in need of an experienced Desktop Support Technician to support a large enterprise-level Windows 11 Deployment and Migration project. Previous experience supporting Windows Deployment projects are mandatory.

This position is 100% onsite at the company's Minneapolis, MN facility.

Project size is estimated to be roughly 7.5k-10k devices over five (5) states.. Migration will be migrating Windows 10 to Windows 11 on current and new PCs and laptops.

Top Skills Needed

Windows and imaging hardware experience is a must have.Will be supporting major Windows 10 - Windows 11 migration project of 7.5-10k devices.Working with end users by calling them to remote in on specific applications and refresh devices.

Job Description

This employee will be assisting in the company's Windows 11 Deployment. They will be assisting in the set up of all employees new PC's and application deployment on these PC's. They will be troubleshooting problems and assisting in any hands on support that is needed. They will mainly be following a script for set up of these PC's and will not have to have the migration knowledge as some employees will have. They will have the opportunity to grow their skill level within this project and have the possibilities to be extended out for future projects.
