Traffic Support Engineer

Are you looking for your next challenge? We are currently recruiting for a Traffic Support Engineer to join our Traffic team in Walsall. The role is to carry out maintenance of traffic signals and associated equipment and may include configuration and commissioning of traffic signal equipment.

• 
  Follow site specifications for quality and accuracy
• 
  Extensive electrical knowledge or equivalent experience in electrical engineering
• 
  Be aware of safety at work and be alert in identifying potential hazards by removing or minimizing them wherever possible by following all Health and Safety Procedures.

What you’ll do:

• Carry out planned periodic inspections
• 
  Attend and assist others with complex reactive faults as required by the contract
• 
  Interrogate all types of traffic controllers and carry out fault analysis
• 
  Complete maintenance in line with agreed schedules and SLA’s
• 
  Carry out on site risk assessments and follow method statements
• 
  May carry out Controller Configurations
• 
  Build controllers to required specifications
• 
  Carry out Factory Acceptance Tests with Clients.
