A hygiene operative is responsible for ensuring that a designated area or environment is kept clean, safe, and hygienic.

  Typical duties of a hygiene operative may include:
• 
  Cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, equipment, and facilities according to established standards and procedures.
• 
  Maintaining cleanliness of our production facilities
• 
  Operating and maintaining cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, and pressure washers.
• 
  Disposing of waste and recycling materials in accordance with company policies and regulations.
• 
  Following health and safety guidelines to minimize the risk of accidents or injuries.
• 
  Reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• 
  Maintaining records and documentation related to cleaning activities and schedules.

• Hygiene Experience in a food facility would be an advantage
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Good attention to detail, planning and organisation
• Ability to make independent decisions, working on own or within in a team
