We have a fantastic opportunity for a reliable, hardworking, enthusiastic, and motivated person to join our friendly and supportive team at our state-of-the-art RCVS accredited Equine Hospital just outside of Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire.

As a keen team player, you will be working within our experienced veterinary and support staff teams to deliver the best care and service to our patients and clients. We cover a wide variety of patients from high-level competition horses to much loved family pets.

The essential skills for a successful candidate are:

· Caring and compassionate

· Confident and competent horse handling skills

· Varied equine husbandry and industry experience

· Excellent attention to detail

· Able to work well as an individual and as part of a team

· Able to use their own initiative to assist our clients

· Good organizational skills

Some experience of veterinary procedures and practice will be of advantage but not essential. The role will include all aspects of in-patient husbandry and daily care. It will also involve the handling and reassurance of patients throughout lameness investigations and other veterinary procedures.

Weekend and bank holiday work is required on a rota basis. Full time hours of work are 5 days a week with 8-hour days with an hour’s unpaid lunch. Days vary from 7.30am-4.30pm or 8.30-5.30 Mon-Fri. There is a 1 in 3 weekend rota, with time off in lieu allocated to the Thu/Fri or Mon/Tue.
