Role Overview & Specifications
The role is within the Asset Management team of Glennmont Partners. The role is to manage the administration and routine activities related to the systems infrastructure used by Glennmont Partners AM team. The role reports to the Performance Engineer.
Systems admin responsibilities and routine activities
Managing and monitoring current systems (third party products such as Asana, Greenbyte, iLevel, Power BI Integrations, Alfresco, QBi), including configurations, testing, and maintenance
Managing the reporting system used by AM, predominately with Power BI
System upgrades
Identifying potential issues and integrating possible solutions
Following up with third parties to ensure project delivery and issue resolution
Running the reporting interface and preparing new reports based on internal needs
Engaging with upper management regularly with reports on project status, activities, and achievements
Implementing, maintaining, and reviewing systems and processes
Help in onboarding users
Training and supporting staff in the systems use and championing best practice
Ensuring data completeness (e.g. backfilling of historical data or missing data due to comms outages)
Cybersecurity Protection
Arranging and monitoring cyber penetration tests on systems within the Glennmont portfolio of assets
Monitoring implementation of mitigation and remedies to vulnerabilities found through tests
Reviewing the proposed infrastructure planned for new plants to come into the portfolio
Coordination with the TCMAs on cybersecurity issues and incidents
Arranging annual cybersecurity insurance cover
Requirements and skills
3+ years of working experience in a similar role
Experience with or knowledge of data visualisation and reporting tools such as Power BI
Experience in project management, systems integration, and ideally cloud computing (ideally Microsoft Azure)
Adept at interfacing with IT systems, queries, report writing and presenting findings
Fluency in English
Other European languages are a benefit.
Preferred skills
Knowledge of wind and solar technologies
Knowledge of renewable energy asset management applications and relevant ecosystems
Interest in the renewable energy industry
