The Procurement Specialist is part of the Group Procurement team who are responsible for ensuring that Together derives best value from its external expenditure on goods and services (across multiple categories) and delivers its cost savings targets.

Job Description

• 
  Delivering procurement related benefits and best value through the application of best practice procurement and strong supply market knowledge
• 
  Working with designated business units and other teams to identify and implement sourcing initiatives that help drive the Together strategic agenda
• 
  Ensuring compliance with Together policies, processes, procedures, guidelines and reporting requirements
• 
  Proactively work the expenditure and contracts to secure best value for Together in the short and longer term
• 
  Assists with the updates of the Supplier Dashboard, detailing the Supplier Performance metrics

Qualifications

• 
  Strong procurement-related skills set (including sourcing, supplier management and supply market analysis). IT and cross category experience desirable
• 
  Specialist procurement and supply market knowledge and able to articulate strategic imperatives associated with business strategy
• 
  Knowledge and experience of initiating, developing and executing market-leading procurement plans and processes
• 
  Strong negotiation skills
• 
  Strong due diligence skills and experience
