Minimum Requirements:

Associate degree with 2 years of relevant experience. Additional experience may be used on a one-to-one basis to offset the educational requirements. Grade 3 (Hourly)

Position Description:

Provide support for the Oral Pathology department.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Prepare patient biopsy reports from written or dictated materials. Maintain biopsy service computer system: log biopsy specimens into the system; check patients for prior biopsies. Coordinate faculty calendars and appointments. Communicate daily with faculty and office staff regarding critical relay of biopsy diagnoses / pick-up information with courier service regarding relay of specimen/x-ray/other material; with law enforcement agencies regarding forensic identification cases for medical examiner’s office. Perform assorted office tasks (i.e., answer phone, sort mail) for the Oral Pathology section and for Department of Diagnosis and Oral Health if needed. Assist in the preparation of course materials, examinations, calculations and recording of course grades. Enter patient demographic, insurance information and billing charges into axiUm. Perform other duties as assigned.

$27.85

Target Compensation Minimum:

$18.56

Compensation Will Be Commensurate To Candidate Experience.
