PA to the Managing Director

Permanent

£35-45,000 plus benefits

This really is a rare opportunity. My client based in Swansea is looking for a PA to join their team to support the MD and senior management team.

This PA role is an integral part of the management team and would suit someone with a high degree of autonomy and initiative. You will work extremely closely with the MD to become an intrinsic part of the company, liaising with internal department heads as well as external customers. You will play an essential part in ensuring the smooth running of the Managing Director's role, providing efficient and accurate commercial, business and administrative support.

Your responsibilities:

  • Interaction with internal and external contacts in a highly professional manner.
  • Manage the Directors competing demands with confidence and professionalism.
  • Support the Director in administrative and information needs.
  • Diary management, complex travel arrangements and expenses, managing correspondence and handling confidential information.

In order to be successful in this PA role you will need:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A tactful, assertive and articulate voice able to interact with a wide range of people for a variety of cultural backgrounds and levels of seniority
  • Commercial prowess
  • Business Experience
  • Consummate research skills.
  • Ability to work to deadlines by setting priorities ad managing workloads
  • Excellent logistical skills - complex diary management.
  • Enthusiasm, creativity and proactivity
  • Exceptional working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
  • Practical experience of using databases and spreadsheets

This is a Monday - Friday role 8.30am to 5pm
