The Talent Acquisition team has a key role to play in supporting Virgin Money achieve itβs ambition β to be the UKβs best digital bank. We help our managers attract and recruit the best talent in the market for their teams. Weβre also on a mission to ensure our workforce is reflective of both our customer base and the communities we serve, and weβve set ourselves some big commitments to do this.
To help achieve this, weβre seeking some additional support to bolster our awesome Talent Acquisition team. The role is multifaceted as you oversee the end-to-end recruitment process for specific business areas. Weβre a team who are incredibly passionate about giving the best experience to our candidates and stakeholders alike and genuinely love what we do. Youβll get to engage and collaborate with colleagues across the business at all levels as well as building successful relationships with external partners.
Day to day youβll:
- Oversee the full lifecycle of recruitment for volume and specialist roles, developing inclusive campaign plans that allow us to attract diverse talent
- Deliver a fair and transparent recruitment experience partnering with hiring managers, offering advice and challenging when required
- Youβll help create job adverts and source candidates using a range of internal and external platforms including LinkedIn and other socials
- Occasionally engage and manage delivery with our external Recruitment Partners
- Build our Employer Brand by taking the opportunity to create innovative campaigns and helping candidates Live A Life More Virgin
- Work with colleagues within the wider People space and providing recruitment advice around talent attraction, selection and market conditions and highlighting any assessment tools and techniques where appropriate
- Use your insatiable curiosity to search for the best ideas and solutions so we can deliver an exceptional service, making sure we donβt rest of our laurels when it comes to process β questioning why we do things is actively encouraged!
- Get involved with projects across the team.
Youβll bring with you:
- Solid recruitment experience, from an agency or in-house role and skilled in sourcing volume roles
- Strong stakeholder management experience with the ability to build relationships and influence across all levels
- Previous experience of running multiple end-to-end recruitment campaigns
- Good knowledge of social media platforms specifically LinkedIn so you can proactively identify and connect with candidates
- Experience of successfully creating talent attraction strategies and direct sourcing to build and manage talent pools
- A track record of advising on the best assessment and selections tool for specific roles
- An ability to work at pace and accurately whilst keeping your customer at the heart of everything you do
- Great communication skills and a beady eye for detail to create red hot adverts and comms in line with our brand.
The icing on the cake would be (but not essential):
- Experience of working within an agile environment
- The ability to design and run assessment centres
- Experience of sourcing candidates for operational and contact centre roles.
