Role purpose:
To support the Director and the team leading Office IT and Tech VOIS Onshore business. The role includes the financial support for major projects, controlling OPEX and CAPEX budget, preparing month-end closing reports for actual spends and make required analysis for actualisations vs budget.
Provide standard finance support for the Office IT and Tech VOIS organisation (monthly reporting, forecast and budget),
Become a virtual member of IT teams - properly support and business partner with Director and his direct reports.
Management of financial governance of business case approval
Share best practice and learning across local markets to drive cost reduction to meet opex targets
Build strong and influential relationships with Office IT team and Group Technology Finance team
Liaise, support and assist GT management team in relation to various financial and operational issues.
Managing some big projects like DC Consolidation and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
Manages financial controls, ensures financial governance, and leads on the delivery of high-quality financial insight/challenge
Lead the budgeting process & monthly reviews for the department
Act as a consultant in regards to any questions regarding Finance, facilitating interaction with other finance functions as necessarym market finance teams
Manages senior stakeholders and inputs into target setting process for area of responsibility and implementation of cost reduction targets across the area
Set up processes and systems to support changes to organisational structures and to drive improvements and efficiencies.
Support ad-hoc initiatives and projects as required
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
Strong communication and presentation skills to ensure credibility with senior management.
Good commercial acumen and ability to identify and solve varied business problems
Strong oral and written communication skills at all levels
Displays sound judgment and makes effective timely decisions.
Excellent analytical and excel skills
Ability to present complex data concisely and clearly.
Demonstrates an active interest in different parts of the business
Embraces change and takes ownership for driving initiatives
ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified or with experience in international blue chips.
Strong technology understanding as well as service provide model.
Strong Excel / PPT Skills
Good communication and presentation skills to ensure credibility with senior executives.
Ability to influence and build relationships at a senior level
Minimum two years of experience
