An exciting opportunity has arisen with Wiltshire Council for Field Support Engineers to join our ICT Service Delivery Team.

This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team that covers many areas of ICT solution development, delivery, and software development, providing innovative solutions to both the business and the public.

About this role

As a Field Support Engineer, you will be responsible for all deskside support activities and perform all the day-to-day maintenance activities for end-user support. You will resolve IT related issues and efficiently process service requests that cannot be resolved remotely, whilst demonstrating a broad technical knowledge across ICT.

About you

Along with expert knowledge of desktop related ICT applications and infrastructure, you will have experience in supporting Windows Desktop platforms and have proven experience of troubleshooting within a corporate environment coupled with the experience of remote/lone working resolving issues independently.

You will be able to demonstrate excellent listening skills to understand exactly what customers require and use your initiative to ensure the continued provision of ICT to council services.

Interviews will be confirmed upon shortlisting.
